My Chosen Brief

7. An extract from an original documentary TV programme, lasting approximately five minutes, together with two of the following three options:

• a double-page spread from a listings magazine focused on the documentary;

• a newspaper advertisement for the documentary.

I chose this brief because I found it more appealing to me and I believed that I would be able to produced products more successfully to this brief. I also had a greater interest in the ancillary products for this brief due to the links to my AS coursework and general interests.

Production - Final Design of Newspaper Advert

This is the final design of my poster.
I have taken on the criticisms about where the text is placed, and decided to move it down over the water so it is covered, but the Houses of Parliament are not covered.
I prefer this design as it looks much more professional and still follows codes and conventions of a Channel 4 poster.

Production - Final DPS

I have taken on board all of my previous audience feedback to do with my TV listings double page spread.
I have altered the size of the text, the extra image, added more facts and added more text to the article.
I am pleased I took on board the small criticisms as I feel that it now looks much more appropriate and professional.
